Overview
Nestled in the heart of the moody Pacific Northwest lies the Anchor Inn Motel, a bed and breakfast warmed by an authentic rustic charm. However, the cozy interior isn’t immediately apparent to passerby. With this conceptual rebrand, I sought to breathe life into this hidden gem and provide an identity that more accurately reflects the experience of staying at the Anchor Inn Motel.

The final logo system puts a retro twist on the nautical theme of the motel. Inspired by tinned fish and the 1920s cartoon Popeye, I illustrated a mascot to develop an identity that extends beyond type into something even more memorable.
